When it comes to blogs made for students (most of the time by students), the college route isn’t the only good one out there.
There are many great blogs out there that will help you navigate your college life easier.
Some of these blogs that I’m going to mention are going to help you get more responsible and manage your time more efficiently. Others will show you how to cook ramen the right way. Either way, you’re winning.
Let’s jump right into the list of the college blogs you should be following this year:
College Info Geek is your number one destination if you want to increase your productivity. The blog’s founder Thomas Frank is a well known YouTuber, Blogger, and also makes music (he makes awesome studying music). College Info Geek isn’t just for college students, it’s for every learner anywhere in the world eager to “Never Stop Learning” as their t-shirts say.
Jessica Slaughter is a Software Engineer at Google (we share the same domain haha) who made her blog sort of like a journal. Jessica shares tips and info about different topics such as studying tips or how to start blogging. The information being shared is valuable to anyone honestly, especially the wellness and lifestyle archive.
College Life Made easy is straight to the point type of blog. They share information about saving money, making money, dorm living, scholarships, and more. College Life Made Easy is very active on Instagram and Pinterest as well which makes you feel connected to the blog more.
I mean the name says it all really. As they state on their website: “The College Investor is on a mission to help you escape student loan debt so that you can start building real wealth for the future.” They share information about saving money and how to deal with student debt. They also share valuable information about how you can invest your money which is something that is discussed rarely despite its importance.
Simply Roseate was founded by Gamilh who’s now a college graduate. Gamilh shares information about tips about studying and finance in a way that is helpful for both current students as well as recent graduates. The blog has some artistic & authentic feel to it which makes it easier for people to connect with the ideas being shared more.
The first thing you see when visiting the Studeconomics blog is a bunch of blog posts related to finance. There’s no chit chat or nothing, straight to the point and plain simple. This is exactly what I look for in a blog, I don’t want to spend time figuring out how to reach the information I came for, nope! Not only does Studeconomics discuss topics such as making money, investing, and debt they also discuss things like insurance which is very uncommon yet important.
Bomo Dambo founded of The Jampearl Blog back in 2016. The blog covers topics about studying and learning, as well as professional and personal development, and many more. Bomo Dambo also offers a free e-book as well as a fun personality. You will never get bored reading this blog, trust me!
As I’ve always said, taking care of your health should be your number one priority even if you’re still in college. One way to do this is by cooking your own food. Spoon University got you covered in this department. Their recipes require the bare minimum of equipment and are easy to do. You can choose from a variety of healthy dishes or maybe it’s your free day and you want to treat yourself with pancakes, you will find something for you either way!
